MP3jam is an application with which you can search and download your favorite songs simply and quickly.

This program has a search engine that suggests song, album and artist names from the characters already typed in the search field, making life easier for those who don't know exactly how to spell the title of a track that is in the charts. radios, for example.

Stuffing your collection

The operation of MP3jam is quite simple. When you open it, you come across a search field. Type in this space the desired search term and press the "Search" button or the Enter key.

Once this is done, the program should display a list of the search result. By default, songs are segmented by their albums. Right next to the song titles, you have two buttons: one to download the track and one to play it.

At the bottom of the MP3jam interface is a built-in player where you can pause and resume playback, fast forward or rewind, and adjust the volume. In addition, the application offers a link (“Download album”) below the disc name so that it can be completely downloaded at once.

Tracking the transfer

Throughout the download process, you are able to keep track of download progress through an information bar displayed next to the player's command buttons. It tells you the download speed, the total file size and the time remaining. You can pause or cancel these transfers at any time.

After completing this procedure, MP3jam gathers in the “Downloads” tab all downloaded songs properly separated by album. Here you can access the folder in which they were saved or play them. Finally, the application has integration with mechanisms that allow the dissemination of specific discs or tracks on Twitter or Facebook.

MP3jam has proven to be an excellent tool choice for searching and downloading music. Its interface has a modern and very attractive look. More than that, it is well organized, with its resources properly segmented into easily accessible tabs.

In addition, support for Portuguese promotes an uncomplicated interaction that can easily be assimilated by people of different ages and even those who have never messed with such a program before.

Undoubtedly, one of the great attractions of MP3jam is the ability to download full albums with a single click. This way, you can fill your music library much simpler and faster.

The download performance of this app is good - though not surprising. During our review, he downloaded 22 songs totaling 109 MB in less than five minutes. Obviously, this performance is directly related to the speed of your computer's connection to the internet.

However, MP3jam has its limitations. One thing we missed while testing it was a feature that allowed us to create a playlist of songs not yet downloaded to the PC. This would allow it to be used as a streaming service as well, increasing its usefulness.

In addition, the mechanisms of sharing content through social networks presented problems. Integration with Facebook didn't work, and in the case of Twitter, a plethora of blank web pages opened. Another point that takes away from the charm of the software is that the free version allows only 30 songs to be downloaded.
